KidSpaces is a program designed for newcomers to Canada. KidSpaces is funded by IRCC in partnership with REACH Edmonton as part of a collaboration Bridging Together.
To participate, all you need is a permanent resident number for each of your children and proof that you reside in southwest Edmonton.
We meet Mondays and Wednesdays after school from 3:30-5:30pm.
Every Monday and Wednesday, KIDSPACES will pick your child up from local schools in Heritage Valley and Blackmud Creek after school and will transport them safely to South Pointe Community Centre. There they will greeted by our dedicated staff and engage in various learning opportunities including music, homework help, art, drama and so much more.
To provide a safe, compelling and empowering after school program in southwest Edmonton for young children who are new to Canada.
My name is Melissa and I am the Program Director of KIDSPACES. My job is to make sure KIDSPACES is the best afterschool program in Edmonton.
My name is Tricia and I'm here to make sure that you feel welcomed, included and have an awesome time at KIDSPACES!
My name is Reckie and not only will I be the one picking you up after school, but I will be showing you how to play music, in particular drums (my favourite). I'm also the director of our sports program.
